Curated Italy Experience
An 8-day journey through Italy reimagined for African travelers — from ancient Rome to Tuscan vineyards.
Overview
Experience Italy reimagined for African travelers — from ancient Rome to Tuscan vineyards, crafted with cultural depth and luxury. This journey is designed specifically for Ugandan and African travelers who want to experience Europe's beauty and history without the alienation that often comes with it.
We understand what you need: slower mornings (because jet lag is real), meals that satisfy (African palates appreciate bold flavors — Italian food delivers), cultural context that includes Africa (Rome's history is connected to North Africa in ways few tours acknowledge), and a group where you're not explaining yourself constantly.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 | Arrival in Rome — La Dolce Vita Begins
Land at Fiumicino Airport and transfer to our boutique hotel in the heart of Rome. Evening welcome dinner at a family-run trattoria where the menu changes daily based on what's fresh.
Day 2 | Ancient Rome — Empire and Echoes
Morning at the Colosseum and Roman Forum with a historian who doesn't just recite dates. We explore Rome's connections to North Africa — the African emperors, the grain ships from Egypt that fed the empire.
Day 3 | Vatican & Departure for Tuscany
Early entry to Vatican Museums before the crowds descend. The Sistine Chapel in relative peace is worth the early alarm. Midday departure for Tuscany, arriving at our agriturismo in Chianti wine country.
Day 4 | Florence — Renaissance and Reality
Day trip to Florence. We start at the Duomo, then dive into the Uffizi Gallery with a guide who makes Renaissance art accessible. Return to Chianti for sunset wine tasting at a small vineyard.
Day 5 | Tuscany Immersion — Slow Food, Slow Life
Morning pasta-making class with a local nonna who's been rolling dough for 60 years. Afternoon in Siena, the medieval gem that rivals Florence but with half the tourists.
Day 6 | Coastal Dreams — To the Amalfi Coast
We depart Tuscany after breakfast and drive south to the Amalfi Coast. The landscape shifts dramatically as we approach the Mediterranean: villages cling impossibly to cliffs, the sea glitters below.
Day 7 | Amalfi Coast — Sea, Cliffs, and Limoncello
Morning boat trip along the coastline — seeing these villages from the water reveals their full drama. We stop in Amalfi town to explore the cathedral and wander the piazzas.
Day 8 | Arrivederci, Italia
Morning at leisure for last swims, final espressos, souvenir shopping. Midday transfer to Naples Airport for departures.
